Moved to wordpress

Previously this blog was hosted for free with blogger.com. However, after sometime I feel like trying a different blogging platform. Since I see that wordpress has many features, not to mention the nice designs too. Okay now that the move has been done, I can continue with the blogging! Plus the so many plugins that I would like to try out. :D

So far I’m liking it. :)

I read your post and right now I’m with blogger as well and I like them because there is more freedom. However you stated you moved to wordpress. How did you do that without paying for a host? Blogger is free. Wordpress you have to pay for don’t you?

Hi, I still have a blog that is hosted by blogger. But if I had a choice I’d rather move it to wordpress too. Only that I’ve used it on blogger for too long that I don’t want to mess up with the permalinks.

Blogger is getting better these days and free too. But wordpress is better in a way because for one, because it is easier to use. Especially when you need to change layout. With blogger you have to rearrange back the widgets on the side bar everytime you change. While with wordpress all you have to do is upload the theme and it’ll be there to for you to activate. And that’s it. Simply activate and deactivate that’s all. Plus with wordpress there are plenty of cool plugins. :D As a user of both blogger and wordpress I can tell you I’ve lost more hair while using blogger than wordpress. LOL

I host for $1.49 only per month. I can choose to pay monthly, or yearly. There are even free hostings too. I give you one example I know that I believe to be quite reliable, http://000webhost.com. 1500 MB diskspace. For blogs you don’t need big spaces. I’ve been using my host for more than half a year and I’ve used up less than 50 MB of diskspace.
