Before having this blog I just had no idea how many types of dolls there are out there. You just need to search to find. It is so much pleasure to learn about these dolls and looking at their pictures!

Here is another type of Japanese dolls available if you want to start a collection. The Kokeshi momiji dolls.

These hand-made wooden dolls were made starting from the early 19th Century in Japan and has become a highly collectible doll among the Japanese. Look at them, why wouldn’t it be popular? They are darn cute!

While, people at many parts of the world celebrates Mother’s Day on the 11th of May. Where I am living currently, which is Hungary, they celebrate Mother’s Day on the first Sunday of May, which is today. So don’t mind wishing all the mommies who are reading this….
