Rikou rikou chan.
Not too long ago, I made a post for virtual pets. I am collecting them. You just can’t believe how expensive it can be to get the rare ones. When I say rare, they are the ones which are not manufactured anymore, or you may only buy from Japan. Some would fetch up to hundreds of dollars. I love them, but I love my money more. So, I’d stick to not so rare ones.
Rikou rikou chan is one of those rare ones, and some how I was fortunate to find one through ebay for quite a reasonable price. It is not really a pet, but instead it is a little boy whom you have to care for until he is an adult and get a job. What kind of career path he will take depends on how well you care for him.
What you can do with this boy? You can feed him, take him for a ride on the bus (for going to school, tutorials and back home), get him to learn his lessons (maths, english, drawing, general knowledge, japanese language - I bought a japanese version), entertain him by letting him watch tv or listen to the radio, get him to study, on or off the light -most probably for sleeping and report.
Nearly the same as a tamagotchi. There is another version of rikou chan. I think it is Rikou no koibito, a dating version of rikou rikou chan.
Just happy to finally got it. Will keep my eyes peel for the original dinkie dino, yuki penguin and perhaps my sweet baby.
Anyway, hereĀ is a tip of where you can buy rikou rikou chan and a few other retro electronic pets. Both from ebay. This one I got from a uk seller.
Look for seller : jaanac. Click here to go to the store. Have to tell you, she doesn’t have it on often. So save her as a favourite seller and check her items once in a while. Sometimes she sells chickpet and also 1997 tamagotchi from bandai.
Another seller is in the US.
Look for seller : Virtual pet paradise. Here you can find plenty of virtual pets. Rikou chan, dinkie penguin, dinkie dino etc. Limited though cause it’s from old stock and he’s clearing up. Once all sold he’s closing shop. Click here to go to his store.
Drop me a comment if you find this helpful. Thanks!
