We all love Christmas don’t we? It is the time of giving and receiving. Though the receiving part is nice, the giving part is equally as nice if not better, especially when you get to watch the happy faces of those receiving the gifts. In reality, it all comes with a price. Christmas is one expensive celebration if you have a long list of people to get presents for. So what do people do to save? They shop on a Black Friday sales day. The day after Thanksgiving. This year’s Black Friday falls on the 28th of November.

On a Black Friday, people would line up in front of stores as early as 5 am. I don’t doubt some people even camp outside. Anyway, with today’s internet shopping technology, why line up, when you can just do your shopping right from home, in front of your computers? That’s what people call the cyber monday sales shopping. The Monday when office workers come back from their Thanksgiving holiday, and continue doing their Christmas shoppings online.

I am currently looking for a toy laptop for my little one. So been browsing a lot for the right one. So far I have found reviews on Vtech’s Tote n go laptop are quite encouraging. I believe, the name Tote n go is for the US market, while the UK market it is called “My laptop” or “My first laptop”.

Also comes in pink now. Love the colour.

The toy is equipped with 30 activities. 10 maths activities, 10 language (includes alphabets and words), and 10 music activities. It comes with a working mouse that moves left, right, up and down and a click button to enter. So the child can practice using a mouse. I saw that there are 2 kinds of mouse. One that is already attached on the right side of the laptop and cannot be detached, while, the newer versions I believe, though also the mouse is attached to the right hand side, but can be detached and put on the left side for the lefties.

The toy comes with a volume control but the lowest volume is said to be still wee bit loud then expected. Some parents don’t mind, some parents do mind about this. It is made for children age 3 and up. But there are parents who claim it is great even for the younger ones.
