I have tried Atkins diet some years ago. I liked it. I lost weight quite quickly. My only complaint was how difficult it was to figure out how much of carbohydrate a food contains. As you may know, that Atkins is a diet that promotes low carbohydrate and high protein diet. I am not nutritionist so most of the time I just guessed.
