After having my ds for 2 months now, I asked myself, “Why didn’t I get one sooner!?”. I really love my DS a lot better now that I have a flash cartridge so that I can download homebrew applications. The applications are so cool and best of all free!

If you have a DS and you don’t have a flash cartridge yet – r4ds, ttds, M3 etc, you should get one. Homebrews are free programs, so it legal to use those.

To read books look for DSReader. For now I think it is .txt file compatible.

For comics look for Comic Book DS reader application.

Now that I can read books and comics through my DS I can forget paperback and hardcover books. Not!! I still love the smell of paper and feel of a book in my hands. Still will order Amazon books once every few months.

The applications are convenient nevertheless lest I don’t want to carry any books with me when I travel somewhere.
