In the Pop cutie – street fashion simulation game, you will be living a life of a fashion designer and a boutique owner on your DS. In this DS game you will be roleplaying as a guy/girl who dreams to be a successful fashion designer.

To design clothes you have to talk to people and they will provide you with keywords. Look around for new colour ideas when you look at the flowers you find in the city. Combine the keywords and create new looks and choose the colours you want them to be in. Then start selling!

You start of by selling your creations at a flee market then go up from there. You get to hire employees according to how much you want to pay them and their skills (unfortunately no employee background check system here, ha ha) manage them, assign them to specific duties, and get them to wear your designs as an advertising scheme. Call the magazine to advertise the clothing of your choice. Also employ models at the modeling agency and make them display on the streets to lure more buyers to your boutique.

There are targets to be reached at each level. For example get fanatic fans of your clothing lines, win a fashion competition etc. Words of caution, you may get addicted to it. :)

Christmas is months away but I’ve already started on a Christmas gift list. For one reason, we don’t like last minute shopping, secondly, when we know what we want to buy, when we see the item on sale we can buy it cheaper.

Of all the things that I like to plan on buying, besides my own presents :) , are things for my daughter. This year we may get a pretend kitchen for our lil’ girl. She is in the age when kids like to play pretend games.

My eyes are on Kidkraft’s Pastel play kitchen set.

The pretend kitchen is made of wood. Comes complete with an oven, stove, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, sink, shelves, play clock, etc. The things look quite similar to the real ones. From the pictures, even the kitchen faucet looks like one of Moen faucets collection. Really cute.

I prefer wooden toys to plastic ones. Because wooden ones tend to be much more durable. Price varies depending on where you get them from but price is usually below $200.
