Soon I will have to pay my yearly premium for my health insurance. However, I am considering to get a better one because this particular one here is very basic. I also have another one which is partly an investment plan in my home country which I didn’t surrender before I moved.
I think that there are different sort of compulsory benefits offered depending on countries. Reading about the health plans by Blue Cross Blue Shield NC in the US, it is rather interesting to know that there are maternity benefits that can be chosen optionally.
At least this gave me an idea on what I should look for when I shop for a new health insurance. Not too sure whether they have somewhat the same here, but I hope that they do.

If you have been using the internet for sometime now, I suppose you must know what an IP address is. I am not an expert on this but I know that each computer that connects to the internet has its own IP address. The IP address will provide website owners, information about their visitors. For example, from which part of othe world they came from, what internet browsers they use, type of internet connection and etc.
So much so that if a visitor has been rather ‘naughty’, he or she can actually be banned from entering the website again with some internet tools. Unfortunately, IP address can actually be cloaked by using proxies. It is said that most likely those who use proxies to enter a website is up to no good - do a transaction online on an online store with fraudulent credit cards, spamming websites and forums, etc. New proxies are created nearly every day.
Therefore it is important for e-commerce website owners to understand how to detect visitors with proxies and blacklist them if need be. The way to do that, is by using a certain web-tool called IP2Proxy IP-COUNTRY Anonymous Proxy List from ip2location.com. This tool actually updates and generates a new proxy list every 24 hours. Just download these and upload it onto your system and they will be automatically blacklisted.
I can talk on and on, but the thing is, you should try it yourself. Read more about this on their website at ip2location.com, or even better, try out their demo account for free.

I was looking for a new make up case or pouch for my collection of skin care products when I saw these adorably kawaii pouches on kawaiigoods.com.

Good enough to be a pencil case or a make-up pouch. There are about 15 other designs over there with prices starting from $6 per item.
Kawaii stuffs like this is never a bore really. You can never get enough of them!!

Ever wonder why babies (in general) are cute? We’d coo, and ‘aww’ over them, saying, “isn’t she/he cute??”. Well, they are cute for a reason you know. It’s in the genes for survival. So that we’d pick them up and care for them. Interesting isn’t it?
Can read more about the study here:

Amazing thing is, the chubbier the baby the cuter we feel the baby is. Too bad it isn’t the same case with adults though. If not we all wouldn’t have to bother about working out, dieting, taking diet pills, just to stay slim eh?

It has been more than a week since I last blogged here. We were away for a week to the country side. Enjoyed the good weather and nature a lot. Other than a little mishap we had while driving back from Slovakia, our short vacation was great.
We actually got lost. Tired, hungry and with the knowledge that it may not be easy to find anyone who could speak English to tell us the right way to take, it was slightly scary. We should have gotten ourselves one of those gps systems that can be used throughout Europe.
Nevertheless, here we are back home again safe and sound. Rejuvenated and fresh to start working.
