My mom used to tease me about how big I was when I was born. The doctor who delivered me even dubbed me “giant baby”. But I bet the baby that is the same size as I was would be dwarfed by this huge newborn baby that weighed up to 8.7kg at birth.

He was born in Indonesia and recorded as the country’s biggest baby. However, he still didn’t break the world record. The record holder is still the baby that was born to Anna Bates of Canada in 1879, weighed 10.8 kg.

It amazes me how the mothers could carry babies that heavy in the womb.

Miracle of babies is that, regardless of how big or fat they are, they are still cute. When babies eat a lot we feel that it is fine that they get chubbier and chubbier. Totally the opposite to adults. Being obese isn’t cute, neither it is healthy.
