The word ‘kawaii’ means cute in Japanese. It is such a popular word that I suppose even those who don’t speak Japanese would know this word. Well, especially those who love all things ‘kawaii’ that is. Who doesn’t eh?

Somebody came up with the idea to create an all kawaii websites directory – allthingskawaii.net. It is a site where you can find all sorts of website links for shopping, personal websites, community forums, fansite, entertainment and so on. All kawaii related. Well, I think it is brilliant. It’s like one of those useful sites for online insurance quotes all in one place. Saves you time and energy.

Currently there are about 603 sites listed, so that will provide you with enough kawaiiness for a long, long time.

It will be our 6th wedding anniversary this coming month. We do sometimes give each other gifts for our wedding anniversary. For this year, maybe I’d buy my partner something small. As they say it is not the value or the size of a gift that matters. But the thought matters most.

Here’s a list of gift ideas according to anniversary milestone. Well, it doesn’t give a specific gift idea, but it gives a rough idea of what to get.

For us, seems like we have a choice of getting something made of iron or wood for this year. Well, I would even give myself  an anniversary gift as well. A sexy looking apple bottom jeans perhaps??

With all the cool handphones around nowadays, some families do not own a land line phone when every one in the family has his or her own handphone. Well, not to say that people don’t have land line phones, but I know that some people only have a phone line at home only to use it with the internet. Just the case with us. :p I almost never use the phone at home.

Anyway, land line phones can still be cool looking. That is with all the novelty phones you can find. As a kid, I remember wanting a phone of my own so much after I saw a tv program where a dad gave his teen daughter a panda phone for her birthday.

As usual, I set out to browse for novelty phones just to see what sort of cute phones ( perhaps a panda phone) that they sell online these days. I always refer online when I’m thinking of buying something. Just like as I read about cordless phone reviews when we were looking for a phone replacement.

Here are a few cool examples of novelty phones I saw at 1-noveltyphones.com. No panda phone though. But the selections are attractive and interesting nevertheless.

The hand shake doorknob, the welcoming doorknob. Here’s another thing for the novelty items lover. What I think about this door knob?? … well, between cool and creepy. Just not too sure which one it is more. But just like many novelty items, you may not like it much at first, but it really can grow on you after sometime.

I can say that I am rather open to new things. But I think I’d stick to my Kwikset door knob in this case.

We went away on a holiday for some days, nearly a week and we crave for more. At least I do. I wish we can go on a road tour and travel, travel, travel. Leaving all the normal daily worries back home. However, work, and our finances doesn’t permit us to choose that kind of luxury.

I would love to have an RV one day. Though I don’t think we can afford a big, luxurious one, but perhaps a small one like this T@B rv would be good enough. It looks comfortable, cute and most importantly small enough to fit our limited parking space.

For me as long as I can cook, wash, take showers, and sleep in it comfortably, I’d be fine.

If not having enough room is a problem, an add on tent would solve that problem.

Sure, having an rv would mean extra work to make sure it is maintained well, search for the best rv insurance quote to insure your rv, more money spent perhaps. But I suppose if one travels a lot, the money that can be saved on accomodation alone and also the feeling of being able to go anywhere comfortably would make all the sweat and money spent worth it.
