Ever since I was small I wanted to own a pocket watch. But since they are quite a vintage or retro item, one pocket watch can be expensive. But thanks to mass production, many things can be bought a lot cheaper without having to really sacrifice the quality.
I bought a pocket watch recently for around $14. Pretty cheap that I thought it wouldn’t be too bad to just give it a try. Just call it one of those impulse spending while browsing random things from blemish creams to cute ukulele.
It’s a mechanical winding pocket watch which means it doesn’t require battery but a good winding every 24 hours or so. I have been having it for a week now and it keeps time quite okay and despite some not too good reviews about chinese made pocket watches, I’m happy to say that at least mine is working still so far.
