Have you ever found a old coin on the side walk or various other places? It feels good to find something interesting or valuable when you least expect. But you don’t have to wait for luck to be on your side to find valuable metal objects or coins. That’s what metal detectors for.
Here’s a video by a metal detecting enthusiast of his collection of valuable coins and other metals that he found.
I know I would sure get hooked if I start doing this. I sure would get a metal detector if there is a metal detectors sale in my local stores.
Altogether, I’ve only got 3 music boxes. All were given to me on different occasions by my dear ones. Looking at one of them on my dressing table gave me an idea of what I should or may get as a present for a friend who is celebrating her name day soon. Name day, where I come from, is equivalent to a birthday celebration.
Well, as I was browsing along I came across these beautiful Studio Ghibli music boxes at strapya-world.com. These music boxes characters and tunes are from Ghibli’s popular animations – Kiki’s delivery service, My neighbour Totoro and Ponyo by the sea. All of which are a few among many of my favourite animes.
The friend isn’t an anime fan though, which is too bad, so I’m not too sure whether she’d appreciate this. But looking at these, sure makes me long for one ( or all three) myself.
I still have a few weeks left to mull over it and decide on whether to buy or not, as long as nothing goes through the POS systems, I still can decide on what to buy for her. As for the rest of us who love these ghibli animations, if money isn’t a question, these music boxes are a must have collector items.
When I was a kid I used to collect stamps because it was cheap, fun and quite educational as you learn about the various country the stamps came from. Not to mention they are easy to store as they are small enough to fit in albums. Just like stamp collection, coin collecting is also interesting, fun and easy to store.
These days, instead of simply collecting coin from various countries, there are also novelty coins to be collected. Coins that come in various designs and shapes of sports event coin, arcade token coin, military challenge coin, restaurant souvenir coin and many more.
I’ve started a pez dispenser collection, now I’m thinking about collecting coin souvenirs.
There are all different types of diecast toy vehicles that a person can collect. Usually, collectors of these items tend to have specific styles of models that they really like. Some prefer cars, while others like trucks, planes, boats, helicopters, etc. Sometimes, a collector will obtain all different model sizes or – as they are called in the world of diecast – scales. On the other hand, they may choose to focus their collection on one scale variety. Essentially, what it all boils down to is what a person wants and how specific they are about their collection.
Hence, if you think collecting diecast toy vehicles is something you would enjoy, take the time to consider if you would like to make this a serious hobby. If you do plan on becoming an enthusiast, it’s a good idea to do some research to find out what is available to you. Furthermore, you should also know how to effectively compare prices and have a good understanding of how to judge the value of different kids of models.
Knowing what to expect and knowing what you want allows you to make informed decisions, which helps to ensure you are obtaining the best possible diecast toy vehicles at an optimal price.
