We’re off to buy a portable heater for the weekend house. Not sure yet which one or what size we’ll choose, but I hope it will work well. Hate to feel cold.

Made me wonder though whether there are any Hello Kitty heaters out there. Well, they do have just about anything with hello kitty on it – phone, computer, games, sewing machine, cars, etc. Just as expected, they do have Hello kitty heaters. :Soon enough we can even find the electric cigarette with hello kitty on it I think. :D

Check these out:

Cute huh? Not sure how good they well they can heat though. They look like a toy that I doubt that they can do heavy duty heating. But since they are cute, I suppose for most Hello kitty merchandise collector wouldn’t care about the performance.

Diecast Toys Tips for New Collectors

One of the reasons that make the collection of diecast toys so much fun is the fact that there is a multitude of merchandise to choose from. Of course, while this is certainly a benefit, it can also be a problem for those who are new to this hobby and are not quite sure what they should consider when making their selections.

Since this is often the case, the following are some basic tips you may find helpful if collecting diecast toys is of interest to you.

Specialize – It helps to know what you want, and this can be achieved through the process of elimination by determining what interests you and what doesn’t. Find out what type of models (i.e. diecast trucks, cars, planes, etc.) you like, and then sharpen your focus even more. This can be accomplished by focusing on a certain maker of toys, size, year, or a themed collection.

Join a collectors club or forum – Other diecast toy enthusiasts can share their experience and help you learn about the different terminology, abbreviations, and facts related to die cast collecting, which can be very helpful when it comes to finding, purchasing, displaying, preserving, and knowing how to get the most money for models you intend to sell.

Familiarize yourself with cost – It’s important to know how much models are worth because many of these items can be incredibly valuable based on how rare and unique they are. It’s a good idea to research online and attend diecast shows when you have an opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence in this matter.

Keep in mind, there are no rules when it comes to diecast toys collections if your intentions are for your own personal enjoyment. However, if you have any intention of catching the interest of serious collectors with your models, you need a die cast education.

People can do so many things online. Check out product price quotes, insurance quotes, buy things, make friends, etc. There are people like me who prefers to window shop online style. :) So what did I find while I was ‘window shopping’ online style today? Music cards.

It looks like a credit card but it plays music! :) Well, it is an mp3 player with a credit card design. Its in a few other designs too like an old school camera, chocolate bar, and a cassette. Real novelty item to be collected.

They only cost about $25.60 each on Strapya World.

Adorably kawaii usb owl.

Have an adorable usb owl to look after your computer when you are away. Well, not really. But they are… cute. If you guessed that it is from Japan, you have guessed it right.

4 colours to choose from or to collect.  White grey, brown and pink. Plug one up your usb port and see it blinks and moves its head from side to side. Awww… Super Kawaii. You may either perch it up your monitor or just leave it on the stump that came with it and set it up on your table.

Push a small button behind the owl to get a different mood or action. 3 moods altogether. Active, mellow or sleeping.

Selling at thinkgeek.com for $19.99. I’m thinking of getting myself one, once I get my dell inspiron 1525 pink flamingo. ;) They’d go so well together I know.
