Sometimes, we need to go back to traditional toys when it comes to developing imagination of a child. Kids these days are very lucky to have more cool toy choices. Not only they get to play with cool toy gadgets that somehow resemble the cool gadgets adults uses, they also can play the traditional toys if they want to.
I browse Amazon.co.uk a lot for educational toys. Usually the wooden ones are great because they are durable, cheap and long lasting. Long lasting here means, it might even last several generations if you take good care of them.
I found this Little wooden village in a bag on Amazon.co.uk sold by several sellers, but somehow I believe it is originally from Toypost. You can check out their website at Toypost.co.uk and order there if you want.
The wooden village, as you can see, consists of wooden houses, towers, walls, people, animals and vehicles. All in all, they have about 45 pieces. Simple and cute, yet can occupy an imaginative child for hours.
Average size of these cute things, maybe ranging from 3 cm to 8cm. So, they are small, they may not be suitable for children younger than 3. Price range from $7-8. Quite cheap.
And, if your child loves this wooden village, you might want to add into the collection a wooden farm.
Price range from $6-$7. Depends on where you buy them.
Wooden toys like these are fun and educational.
