Money counting coin box.

It is never too early to be teaching your young ones the value of money. Teach them to save at young age, and here is the right thing to use just for that. A coin box. Not just any ordinary coin box, but a coin box that helps keep track of the amount of coins your child already inserted through the coin slot.

The counter can track up to $999.99. To take the money out, just twist the top open. Requires 2 AA batteries. Cost about $10. Great item as a gift.

Lexibook - Windows operated laptop for kids.

There are plenty of quality toy laptop for kids to help them learn the alphabet and also to handle a computer. However, most if not all of them only has small pixel screen which the kids would after sometime realize that something is not the same like mom and dad’s computers.

Lexibook came up with a kid friendly laptop with a real windows operating system. My first windows computer. Orange coloured, most probably considered as a neutral colour accepted by both boys and girls.

* 64MB RAM
* 2GB SSD

It’s available at amazon.co.uk for £199.99. Rather on the pricey end I suppose. I wonder whether they would come up with other colours later on.

But wouldn’t you love to carry up to 120 GB of data around in your wallet? If you do, check out Samsung’s 1.8″ hard drive. Small enough to be carried in your wallet.
