If you are looking for a gift for your other half, couple key-chains can do no wrong. Even more so if it is a personalized one like these key-chains that can be found at personalcreations.

You can etch your names and even dates when you first met or your wedding day. Simply one of the best bride or groom gift ideas.

It is cute and romantic and since we all will be using some sort of key in our daily lives – house key, car key, gate key etc – it would sure be something that you would be holding and look at everyday.

Although I am generally an early Christmas gift shopper, there are things that I like to buy the last minute. Like gifts for the kids so that to lower the risk of they finding out what I got for them – in case they found out where I hid the gifts. The internet can help find just about anything, be it Legacy System Operator Jobs or the rarest car part that aren’t sold in your local town anymore. But most of all I really appreciate the less headache and leg walk I have to do when it comes to gift shopping. After scouring the internet just for a few minutes I decided to get one of this for my 3 year old nephew.

The vtech slide & talk phone. A smartphone toy that not only good for pretend games but also teaches letters, numbers, counting, and alphabetical order. It has a phone book that contains 4 different friends whom the child can call or text. And to add to the fun there will also be suprise calls from silly characters.
I think it would be a great gift for toddlers who would like to have his/her very own smartphone like mommy’s and daddy’s.

Christmas is getting closer and you can see more and more shopping centers putting up Christmas decor and selling Christmas chocolates, Christmas wreaths, costumes, decorations and gifts. Makes me feel all Christmassy and thinking of the the things that I can get for my loved ones for Christmas. For me, the diy gifts seems to be something that I’d like to make every year. At least a simple card or decorated glass or something. This year I would like to try Fimo (polymer clay) characters.
I tried making a panda phone charm – slightly bigger than average charm
.

Turned out not too shabby so I’ve stocked myself with more fimo block of different colours this week and planning to make charms and keychains as Christmas gifts. It’s so much fun and I suppose it would mean more to the receiver if they get something that you spent time on making yourself.
Next project perhaps to copy this cute cat.
Or something that looks similar to it.

The time of the year for celebrating the Queens of Hearts – Our dear moms – will be here soon. Here in Hungary, we celebrate mothers days on the first Sunday of May. Which means I have less than a month to get a special gift for mother.
I love to shop for mother’s day. There are usually so many gifts to choose from and I always love jeweleries and the sentimental sort of gifts the best for mother’s day. I came across a couple of such gift ideas on redenvelope.com.

The ‘Cherished mom stacking rings’ and the ‘Victorian locket bracelet’. They have a list of beautiful gifts for mother’s day but these two are my favourite. I really love this sort of jewelleries and I wouldn’t mind getting something like these myself from my own kids.
Well, I still need to wait a long time for my first mother’s day gift.
Socks not only keep your feet warm, protect them while you are wearing shoes, fashion, provide fun when you slide across shiny marble or laminate flooring, but once you no longer want to use them on your feet you can always turn them into something cute like sock puppets and dolls.
I’ve got a bag full of old socks of different colours, patterns and sizes which I didn’t know what I would do with them. Then I saw these books while browsing.

I know that some creative people have been making sock dolls and puppets for ages. However, for a person who aren’t that creative like myself, books like these are indeed a great help to jog that creative brain cells a little bit.
Now I know what I can do with those socks. The dolls would indeed make great gifts for little kids or adults who just love soft, cute, handmade dolls.
