Summer is approaching and we are already planning about going somewhere. At the same time I’m looking for things that I may need on vacation and later on would be useful at any time. Something like one of Energizer’s ‘Energi To Go’ line of products – Energizer XP4001.

Just like many other mobile phone users, I also have experienced the frustration when I can make or receive calls cause the phone batter juice ran out and I’m no where near a place where I can charge it. Carrying around a few other samsung mobile batteries would be a good idea but getting an Energi To Go, a portable gadget charge would be an even better solution. With the Energizer XP4001, being able to charge multiple devices other than mobile phones like gaming consoles, media players, and digital camera is another big bonus. ( my camera battery runs out of power real fast)
I realized that I may not need it all the time, at least it is good to know that you can charge your phone anytime you need some juice boost on your mobile phone anytime, anywhere. Must have gadget for anyone planning to go on a trip.
We recently got a new cage for our hamsters. A cage by Ferplast called the Olimpia. A simple cage with an extension where there are floors and the wheel and a place for the hamster to sleep in.

We love it! And we hope the hamsters do too. There are in a way more places to go to than the old cage we have for them.
There are also other interesting and cute cages by ferplast that we in the beginning considered getting. Like the circus fun.

Or the combi 2.

The cages look like a commercial playground where kids play. Well, the fact that we can actually see the hamsters go up and down in olimpia was the reason we chose it in the end.
The cage is well built I think. They are not ‘that’ cheap but the idea that we can actually extend it if we buy more cylinders and cage is great. We may extend the cages and make it into a system of hamster cages. For that we need a bigger apartment.

Still more than a month to go till winter ends. It is still quite cold outdoors that I’d rather still indoors most of the time unless I really have to go out.
Remember the feeling of holding a cup of warm tea/coffee when your fingers were so cold to the point of becoming numb and stiff? Nice feeling wasn’t it? Well, that’s how it would feel like to hold a Oneloop kairo pocket/hand warmer.

Trust the Japanese to invent something like this.
So we have a portable pocket warmer, portable heater and fan, will there be portable ceiling fans? Hmmm, wouldn’t be such a bad idea if you can just hook a fan on the ceiling easily. Ceiling fans are better than table ones in my opinion, since you get more air circulation from a ceiling fan. Well, we just got to wait and see.

My Ipod touch 4g came in the mail 2 days ago. A 32 gb model, which I think is big enough space for HD videos. I know how much a HD video movie can take up space. I have 2 external hard drives just for storing digital photos and HD movies taken with my Lumix FZ28.

I’m very happy with it even though the still camera quality isn’t so good, but it’s an mp3 player first, camera second. And as long as it can take good HD videos, it’s considered a bonus. I would still get it even if it didn’t come with a camera.

What would be the best thing to giveĀ to someone who is above 60 years old as a gift? I would say, health product. This year I’m thinking of getting my mom a foot spa. The one that massages and do detoxification as well.
I’m quite sure the massaging function would be useful, even I love a foot massage now and then and having my feet soaked in warm water, especially in the winter.

The detoxification function may be something that would prove to be as useful too. Even though I am not really sure how it works. Generally I believe that it would do some good to the body. Ridding it from all sorts of pollute from the environment and the things we eat that would help the body system heal itself better and function better.
I’ve heard that detoxification has become a popular therapy to help people with serious addictions. I don’t think a simple foot spa detoxification machine would help a drug addict get well. But I suppose the same theory is used in the detox centers, only with better equipments and in a different environment.
Well, I’m not sure whether my mom would appreciate the detoxification function since she isn’t really into such therapy, but I’m sure she’d be glad to have a feet spa nevertheless.
