Just got another camera for Christmas – Lumix DMC L5. My second Lumix. The first one being the FZ28 (which is a very good camera). However, I need another one small enough to carry in my purse. So I think this would be good enough. Other than the specs stated down below, what I like about the camera so far is the colour. It’s pink! :) Other than that, is the uploading directly to Facebook and Youtube feature. That would save a lot of time indeed. These days not only one needs a good application for video download from youtube, but one that directly upload to youtube would be a great feature. Well at least for a youtuber who likes to upload videos like myself. :)

I will try to give a better review later on, once I get to use the camera a bit longer.

While looking at the classic racing car toys with raceways, I came across this cute ‘Hajimete macaroon maker’ with ‘Hajimete’ meaning ‘first’ in Japanese, this macaroon maker is suitable for little children (and adults too :) ) to learn make cute edible macaroons.

The macaroon maker set includes a mixing bowl, guide sheets (with templates), spoon, scraper, and 2 piping bags. However being a Japanese product the instruction guide is in Japanese too.

They look all so cute and pretty, but I just wonder how it would taste. :)

Ferplast hamster cage.

We recently got a new cage for our hamsters. A cage by Ferplast called the Olimpia. A simple cage with an extension where there are floors and the wheel and a place for the hamster to sleep in.

We love it! And we hope the hamsters do too. There are in a way more places to go to than the old cage we have for them.

There are also other interesting and cute cages by ferplast that we in the beginning considered getting. Like the circus fun.

Or the combi 2.

The cages look like a commercial playground where kids play. Well, the fact that we can actually see the hamsters go up and down in olimpia was the reason we chose it in the end.

The cage is well built I think. They are not ‘that’ cheap but the idea that we can actually extend it if we buy more cylinders and cage is great. We may extend the cages and make it into a system of hamster cages. For that we need a bigger apartment. :)

Samsung GT-S5230 Hello Kitty.

At last I chose and bought a phone. Not the phone that I was considering in the very beginning, but I’m happy with it so far. I got the Samsung GT-S5230 just two days ago. A 3″ touchscreen phone with internet and multimedia capabilities.

The touchscreen is a resistive one so it is not as sensitive as many would like it to be. For me it is acceptable. The built of the phone seems durable and the design is sleek. Even more so with the Hello Kitty edition. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a wifi although you can still browse the net and  pre-installed social networking apps like Facebook, myspace, picasa and YM using Edge – which is going to cost you a bomb.

What I like most about this phone is the 3.2 mp camera. It can produce very good picture qualities considering it a camera phone.  Even better qualities that what some higher end phone camera with higher megapixels would produce sometimes. I’m really satisfied to tell the truth.

Other features that I like: you can add up to 8gb of disk space using a microsd card and the phone tracking feature. With the phone tracking feature you can activate it so that if ever the phone get stolen and the thief decided to through away the original sim card and replace it with another one, the phone will send a message with the current phone number to another phone number you assign withouth the culprits knowing. So you can use the number sent you to the right athorities to do the job of getting the culprit to justice or the least get back your phone.

I lost quite a lot of phone numbers. This time I’ll make sure I do a good data backup of my contacts.

Nokia C 3.

My sony ericsson phone finally ended its 2 year service for me a couple of weeks ago. The screen just went black. So right now I am looking forward to getting a new phone. This time I am going for a Nokia. I’ve used 2 Nokia phones before and never had any problems with them. I just stopped using them because I upgraded.

Since I’m looking for a nokia, I’m hoping to get the Nokia C3.

I haven’t decided yet though because I still need to read reviews on it. I read Hoodia diet pill, or even md clear reviews even though I never planned to buy them – just for the general knowledge. You can bet I’d read reviews and watch video preview of the phone first before I buy.

I’m 1/2 way Okay on getting the phone because I love the design, and I love the pink model.
