When I was a kid I had a low racing pedal car that I share with my little brother. It was a fun toy. We used it a lot for our pretend games. It was sometime in the early 90′s that we first saw battery operated toy cars and motorbikes.
They look plasticky and toy like those days, but I must say that many of the battery operated cars that we can buy now a days do look more like the real thing. Not to mention more extensive choices available now – Jeeps, Peg perego Polaris, John Deere Gator, Honda Minimoto, Winther Tricycles, Peg Perego Vespa and more.
For more info about these battery operated kiddy rides and how to order them, you can visit kidswheels.com.
Roughly 2 months more to Christmas and I believe many families have started to buy Christmas gifts. Especially those who has more to family members to buy for. Even for myself, I don’t really like last minute shopping.
There are many toys that we are looking forward to purchase. It’ll be a few more years before we would have to bother looking for acne skin care products for the kids. So I savour the moments when buying toys is much more a priority. I love buying toys for the kids.
Now,one thing that is on the consideration list to buy is Fisherprice’s iXL learning and entertainment system. Targeted for kids as young as 2 years old up to 7 years old.
Features:
iXL is the ultimate handheld learning tool designed for kids
6 ways to play: Digital Reader, Game Player, Note Pad, Art Studio, MP3 Player and Photo Viewer
Comes with pre-loaded software for the various applications
Opens like a book, exposing a 3.5″ TFT QVGA color screen
Additional features include: built in speaker, action button, tethered stylus, headphone jack, SD memory card slot, and built-in memory
I think it looks like the very bulky version of NDS. I believe that is for the little hands to easily hold and carry it around without dropping it.
There are other softwares that you can buy for the iXL system – Disney toy story, Disney princes, Disney Handy manny, to name a few. And it comes in blue or pink.
We’re off to buy a portable heater for the weekend house. Not sure yet which one or what size we’ll choose, but I hope it will work well. Hate to feel cold.
Made me wonder though whether there are any Hello Kitty heaters out there. Well, they do have just about anything with hello kitty on it – phone, computer, games, sewing machine, cars, etc. Just as expected, they do have Hello kitty heaters. :Soon enough we can even find the electric cigarette with hello kitty on it I think.
Check these out:
Cute huh? Not sure how good they well they can heat though. They look like a toy that I doubt that they can do heavy duty heating. But since they are cute, I suppose for most Hello kitty merchandise collector wouldn’t care about the performance.
With all the cool handphones around nowadays, some families do not own a land line phone when every one in the family has his or her own handphone. Well, not to say that people don’t have land line phones, but I know that some people only have a phone line at home only to use it with the internet. Just the case with us. :p I almost never use the phone at home.
Anyway, land line phones can still be cool looking. That is with all the novelty phones you can find. As a kid, I remember wanting a phone of my own so much after I saw a tv program where a dad gave his teen daughter a panda phone for her birthday.
As usual, I set out to browse for novelty phones just to see what sort of cute phones ( perhaps a panda phone) that they sell online these days. I always refer online when I’m thinking of buying something. Just like as I read about cordless phone reviews when we were looking for a phone replacement.
Here are a few cool examples of novelty phones I saw at 1-noveltyphones.com. No panda phone though. But the selections are attractive and interesting nevertheless.
