I wanted to talk about night & day creams, but let’s talk about this cute night & day clock instead. :)

If you are a parent you would know how irritating it is to be waken up by active kids just before the sun is up. Here is a special clock - the Kidsleep alarm clock - that is made for children to teach them when it is okay to get up.

They also work as a wonderful and cute night light for the kids. Comes in pink and blue.

I came across this cute Japanese Mousse Clay Stamp Making Kit on Etsy sold by FromJapanWithLove. In the pack you would find:

1-stamp inks
2-sponge stamp mounts (where you mount the molded stamp shapes)
3-stamp molds to make shapes (There are Fruits & Sweets 21 kinds of stamp molds).
4-mousse clay (*this clay will dry out if it is left open in the air and you need to keep this in pack or case).
5-glue

The 21 stamp shapes of fruits and candies would be perfect for decorating letters, cards, scrapbooks and more.

Would make great gifts too for those crafty people who loves cute things. :)

Sweet cigars.

When there is a special occasion to celebrate - announcement of a new family member, a promotion, much awaited retirement - the men would usually smoke to celebrate. Good quality cigars in particular - Middleton’s cigars, Dutch Masters, Alec Bradley Overture, Camacho etc.

But what is someone in the group doesn’t smoke at all?? Even that fact shouldn’t stop anyone from celebrating with a cigar. :)

Chocolate cigars that is. ;) My father in law just quit smoking. Cigars would have been an easy to thought of gift for Christmas, but since he doesn’t smoke no longer. A chocolate one would be as great I suppose. All the niceties of a cigar only sweeter.

These past few weeks I have found the joy of making cute things. That is after I got my hands on the “Cute doll” book by Aranzi Aronzo.

Here are a couple of my project from that book.

Took me 4-5 hours to do them each. Being a total noob at sewing and also sewing by hand really made it rather slow to finish one project. Sewing, crocheting, knitting are not really fat burners exercises, but it can be rather tiring sitting and sewing for hours when you are not used to it. :P

But did I have enough of craft already? Surely not! Cause I’m getting myself more books to teach me to make more cute stuffs.

Waiting patiently for them to arrive in the mail….. :)

Due to the current economy situation, most of us are in a rather tighter budget for Christmas presents this year. Many would say, if you can’t buy them make them! That’s exactly what I’m going to do.

I got myself an aranzi aronzo cute doll book to teach myself how to make kyuuto (cute) dolls for the nieces.

Looking at the how to make, it seems rather easy to make these cute things.

Making these wouldn’t cost more than $2 and maybe 1 hour or 2 to make one. What’s more, it would be extra special because there’d love in every stitch. :D

You can always go for an xbox 360 for a gift, but if you are poor like me, making cute things like these as gifts could not go wrong. Because, who doesn’t like cute things??
