I am just one of those people who always have to self teach myself to do anything. Since I am quite new, besides books, I also refer to her videos whenever I am stumped on how to create a certain crochet stitch.

Technology can be rather distracting, but I don’t think anyone can deny its usefulness when it comes to this sort of online resources - English online classes, JLPT online prep lessons, GMAT prep online sessions and more.

As of today, it is exactly another 1 month before we celebrate Christmas. Still have plenty of time to do the Christmas shopping. I am actually half way through the Christmas shopping list.

After checking out  free directory pamphlet of the local stores, we have decided to wait for the last minute sales for some of the things that we may buy.

Then the wrapping up of the presents  and the decoration will follow suit. Gosh, plenty of work  ahead. But I am pretty excited already.  I really hope it’ll be a white Christmas this year.

I managed to decide on what my online shop should be called. It is called “Eureka Shoppe”. Then I had to choose what shopping cart platform to use - I’m using WP ecommerce free version (at the moment). After that I had to insert the products that I will be selling.

Currently I’m only selling books. Delivery only to EU at the moment. But later on I will add more products to sell.

Still have to figure out how to upload products in a much more quicker and efficient way.

And now will have to promote it. Choosing a domain, building the site and uploading products seems so easy compared having to promote the site. Finding for a life insurance no exam requirements website seems a lot easier.

I’m busy selling stuffs online. Though at the moment I am only selling through ebay, but I’m still playing with the idea of setting up my own store.

I wrote a post regarding, setting up an online store using WP. Yup, you can practically sell anything - toys, books, car accessories - on your wordpress blog. You just have to use the WP commerce plugin.

My birthday is in 3 weeks time. I’ve planned to get myself a new camera around that time as a gift for myself. I currently am looking at the Canon SX110 IS.

It is a superzoom mid range camera. A 9 MP with 10 x optical zoom. I don’t know what to call it. A bridge camera? a compact camera? or perhaps both. Selling for $230 at Amazon.com at the moment. One important factor why I consider this camera is because of the AA batteries used to power it up. I just can’t stand rechargeable packed camera. With AA batteries, if the juice runs out, they are available everywhere.

Wish my other half would be generous enough to pay for it, but he has to go for a dental check up and touch up. Wish he’d get some dental care discounts. Perhaps then he’d consider to buy me the camera as a present? It’s nothing wrong to hope, right?

The camera that I am having now is a Powershot A400. 3.2 MP with 2.2 X optical zoom. A very good camera. Going on 5 years now with thousands of pictures and hundreds of videos taken and it is still working great. So why do I have to buy a new one? Well, I’d like a camera that can zoom in and out while taking videos. Mine doesn’t do that. The SX110 IS does. Further, by watching test video samples, seems like it takes better quality videos too.

So that’s it, wait a few more weeks and I will be playing with a new camera.
