I am considering to get myself a new slim compact camera as a birthday gift to myself this year. Not that I really need one, but would be nice to have a small enough camera to fit in my small bag easily. As I’m considering Canon powershot currently I’ve been browsing video reviews after video reviews about the cameras in that line. And I found this video of the miniature effect of the canon powershot s95 on youtube. I think it’s cool enough to share it on here. Credit to the owner who created this video.
P/s: I know that I don’t really need a new camera as my Lumix fz28 is just amazing. But I’m such a shopaholic that I need to buy something. Do they have like the benzodiazepines detox addiction treatment for always wanting to buy something new addiction? Bet there would be many people who need that sort of treatment. Myself included.
I like putting my thoughts into words on a piece of paper or just doodle around to describe what I feel. Usually on bits and piece of random paper at hand. I do keep a diary that I write on sometimes however I would like to start journaling again as I used to when I was a teenager.
That is why I’m trying out a moleskine for the first time as some people mentioned that if you are serious about journaling you might want to consider moleskine. I did a little googling about journal notebooks as much as I would if I were to look for the best progesterone cream or best diet pills or best compact camera. At first I was a little put off by the price but decided to give it a go at least once. If it is good, I’d buy it again. Further I’m not too happy about the gel pen bleeding on the paper of my current diary. Look all messy.
Just ordered one off bookdepository.com as I don’t see any local stores. So hopefully in a few days I’d be getting my hands on and find out what the hype is all about.
At last I chose and bought a phone. Not the phone that I was considering in the very beginning, but I’m happy with it so far. I got the Samsung GT-S5230 just two days ago. A 3″ touchscreen phone with internet and multimedia capabilities.
The touchscreen is a resistive one so it is not as sensitive as many would like it to be. For me it is acceptable. The built of the phone seems durable and the design is sleek. Even more so with the Hello Kitty edition. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a wifi although you can still browse the net and pre-installed social networking apps like Facebook, myspace, picasa and YM using Edge – which is going to cost you a bomb.
What I like most about this phone is the 3.2 mp camera. It can produce very good picture qualities considering it a camera phone. Even better qualities that what some higher end phone camera with higher megapixels would produce sometimes. I’m really satisfied to tell the truth.
Other features that I like: you can add up to 8gb of disk space using a microsd card and the phone tracking feature. With the phone tracking feature you can activate it so that if ever the phone get stolen and the thief decided to through away the original sim card and replace it with another one, the phone will send a message with the current phone number to another phone number you assign withouth the culprits knowing. So you can use the number sent you to the right athorities to do the job of getting the culprit to justice or the least get back your phone.
I lost quite a lot of phone numbers. This time I’ll make sure I do a good data backup of my contacts.
My 7 year old phone stopped functioning about 2-3 weeks ago. I’m supposed to get a replacement soon because I need a phone. It’s interesting that 15 years ago mobilephones were not important things in our lilves and we could get by without it. But now that every one has one, it seems impossible to live without having one.
As I am the sort of person who would search for everything online, be it charlotte jobs to phone reviews before I decide on doing or getting anything. At first I really wanted to get a Nokia c3, then I thought a Nokia E5 would be better. And as soon as I thought I had made up my mind, I saw something else that I thought a lot more worthy to get. Then I thought, why the waste of money spending on expensive phone when all I need is simple cheap phone that can help me call and send messages. In the end I still haven’t got a phone yet.
As they say, having a lot of choices can be a good thing, but when there are too many choices can be mind boggling too.
My Ipod arrived in the mail in November last year. Since then it has been nearly three months, and I use it every day for all sorts of things. From listening to music, to tending a virtual garden, check emails, use the dictionary, read a book, watch youtube videos and more.
So far no problem and I have been very happy with it. The camera isn’t ‘that’ great but at least there’s a camera when you need one. The still pictures are crap but at least the videos aren’t ‘that’ bad. After all it is in HD.
Been nearly 3 months and no regrets what so ever. Would be nice if is a phone though. Since I still haven’t replaced my damaged phone yet. I’m dreaming of a Motorola Atrix or a Blackberry Curve.
